In a bit of a funk today; I couldn't quite figure out why, until a friend posted that it was the anniversary of JP's passing. Yeah, that would do it. Seven years, and it still feels like yesterday sometimes. He was a good friend, and a birthday buddy, and Brushwood hasn't been the same since he's been gone.
The grey, rainy weather isn't helping, either. It washed away any ambition I might have had.
I'm trying to not have a pity party though, despite getting frustrated with the computer on top of everything else. It doesn't help that people keep posting videos on Facebook that I can't watch. :P
The asparagus that I roasted for dinner cheered me up, though. A little olive oil, a little sea salt, and some homemade, chewy garlic bread made it a treat for my tastebuds. Netflix brought me Up in the Air, so I get to spend the evening with George. So it's not all bad. *g*
