Because they're so cool, and so photogenic. This one was down at Heritage Park, where I went at lunchtime today.

I must report that I don't know what became of little lost gosling yesterday. I haven't seen him again. Hopefully this means he is with his parents in an undisclosed location, and not anything unpleasant. The park has been full of people all week because it's school vacation week, and the pond is full of fish, so they are perhaps in hiding. Let's hope so.

I walked down to the woods yesterday after work, to celebrate Earth Day with the trees.



The river has gone way down, and places I couldn't get to for a while are once again accessible, so hopefully there will be time to do some exploring this weekend. Tomorrow is supposed to be spectacular; Sunday sounds more like a good laundry day. *g*
