'Tis been a long week. It's starting to slow down, as winter is our slowest season. Still, there always seems to be tons to do. Especially since the new management strategy seems to be "Treat them like Kindergartners and give them lots of busy work, for which they will get stars." No really, we get star stickers. But! If we forget to bring our star sheets to the sales meeting, we don't get them. I just love being treated like I'm five. *rolls eyes*
We got gift cards for Armata's (local grocery) for Thanksgiving, and I went there on my lunch hour today. I got a chicken pie (theirs is the best), some nice smoked gouda, some of their amazing brownies, and a ciabatta bread with olive oil & sea salt. Nice and comforting.
I was thinking of going to see the new Harry Potter flick tonight, but on further reflection, I think going opening night would be a bad idea. I hate crowds, and theatres full of kids. I think I'll go to a matinee on Tuesday, when the little tykes are in school. That sounds like a much saner strategy. I really want to see it, but not badly enough to put up with boisterous crowds.
Next week should be an easy one: I only have to work Monday and Wednesday. Yippee.
