Today turned out nicer than expected; the rain stopped earlier than forecast, so I went for a nice long walk on my lunch break. It was in the 50's, breezy, and brightening. I found these little sprouts poking out of the ground at the edge of a melting pile of snow.

It's getting busier, too. Lots of seasonal advertisers coming back after their winter break. I made a nice sale when they had to fill the back page, and I called one of my roofing guys. Got good brownie points (and a star) for that.

I was horrified by the news from Japan, like everyone else. I was worried about ami_1's daughter, who lives there, and about another friend who is visiting family in the Philippines. Both have been heard from and are fine. *whew*
