sweet!

It's 50 degrees out! Feels like spring. I know Mother Nature is just teasing us, and it's going to be cold & snowy again by the end of the week, but it sure feels good. :)

I had trouble getting to sleep last night. I don't know why. I didn't have anything with caffeine, and I was up at the crack of dawn (literally) again yesterday. I did take a short nap, but that shouldn't have kept me up till after 1 a.m. Sheesh! Maybe it was all that cooking.

I have to remember to hit the library on the way home. I need a new book to read at lunchtime, and I need to pick up my federal tax form. For some reason, they didn't send me one. D'oh! I really don't want to wait till the last minute. I may be a champion procrastinator, but I usually get my taxes done in February.

A friend of mine asked me to officiate at her handfasting! I'm so honored that she asked me. They're already legally married, so I don't have to worry about paperwork. She said that when she was planning the ceremony, I was the one she pictured doing it. Isn't that so cool? It'll be in May, Memorial Day weekend, and down the street from my apartment to boot. Woo!

I haven't had a chance to make many calls today; people are calling me! Folks are starting to call me back from messages I left them. I guess spring fever is breaking out! My home-improvement-type guys are saying yes to the pullout guide coming up. Woo hoo! March is shaping up to be a good month. Gotta make up for February! The ad fairy is smiling on me. :)
