Almost through the work week. Alas, I do not have a long weekend to look forward to. We didn't even get President's Day off. My boss says we just get the Italian holidays (the owners are, you guessed it, Italian). We do get a paid day off for our birthday, though, which is kinda nice. Especially since mine's in the summer. :)

We have yet another planning meeting for the Ren Faire tonight. Yeesh. We have to get the new volunteers up to speed. The person who was handling the actors has decided to move to Florida. Gods only know why anyone would want to live there voluntarily, especially since she's not only young, but gay. Not a state known for its tolerance. WHATever. Anyhoo, I have nothing new to report. The one inquiry I got this week was from someone who has a donut cart. My first reaction was: donuts aren't especially authentic. My second reaction was: mmmmmm, donuts. So. I'll let the others decide.

I had a pretty productive week at work. April's turning out to be a good month. I've already made bonus; I just need to get to the next level now. And then the next. ;)

I went over to the MDA office to say good-bye to Laura. She's moving to Boston. Steph is there for another month, so I have time to think about things. I'm not sure now that I'd want to go back there. It's such a sterile little office. One of those generic office spaces in a generic office park. I dunno. I'll have to talk to Peg about it some more, see what she thinks. Still, I'm flattered that the thought was there.

I haven't decided if I'll go home first and then to the meeting, or just grab something to eat and maybe do some shopping before heading over there. Decisions, decisions. Maybe I'll go to BJ's and get my card replaced, and see if they have anything I need.

OK, they're telling me we have part of a proof to do, so off I go to do some actual work!
