mmmmm, day off!
May. 30th, 2005 04:21 pmI didn't get a whole lot accomplished today, but that's no big surprise. I'm reveling in two consecutive days with no commitments. Aaaahhhhhhh
I made another attempt at getting my Costco card, but it turns out that Costco is closed for the holiday. Who knew? I didn't think anyone closed for holidays anymore. Well, good for them! Good for their employees, anyway. So I went to the garden store instead and got potting soil, and finally planted my pansies. I put them in the plastic cauldron that I had lavender in a couple years ago. They're much happier now. They managed to survive until I got them potted. Hardy little plants!
I was going to make pork loin for dinner, but it's not completely defrosted. Oh well, I'll make it tomorrow. I have crab cakes from Trader Joe's that I can cook up instead. And mango chunks, also from TJ's. Yum!
The sun is coming in through the windows just now. It feels good! I was so sick of the greyness. After dinner, I'll go for a nice walk. Today was like those summer days you remember, with big puffy clouds and a nice breeze. Reminded me of days at Brushwood. It must be just about Kabluna hour there by now!
