drying out

It actually stopped raining today! OMG, the sky was blue! I'd forgotten what that looked like. ;)

I went out to Grafton to the SEF singing/chanting workshop this afternoon. That was fun. justjanus's friend Jane taught the class. I haven't seen her in a loooooong time! We did some fun exercises, sang some silly songs, blew bubbles & blew up balloons, and generally had a good time. Then textiletart had us chanting the SEF liturgy, and then we all chanted with a sanskrit CD that was just lovely. Don't forget to post the info about it, honey!

It hadn't stopped raining yet in central MA, but I was treated to a magnificent sunset on the drive home. It made up for the @#$% driver that was holding up traffic in the fast lane, then speeding up when you tried to pass him on the right. He gave the finger to the car in front of me. Someone needs to relax! Sheesh.

My car passed 100,000 miles today, soon after leaving the barn. It hit 99,999 as I was entering the parking lot, as a matter of fact. So, now my car is no longer under warrantee for anything. That's a little scary!
