snow!

I survived the family yesterday, and the snow. So glad to be back home in my cozy little apartment. It looks like we got about 3" of snow here. There was about 2" in Medway, and almost none in Canton. By the time I got to Walpole yesterday, it had turned to rain, and the sun actually came out after noon. We had a nice time at the UU church, and I got to take home lots of leftovers (they had three turkeys!). Mom also sent me home with various teas and some Spiedie sauce (a meat marinade native to Binghamton). She also gave away the fact that she's getting me AAA for Xmas (she had to ask me for my car info). This is one of the few times she's gotten me what I asked for!

I was in bed by 9:30 last night. I was one tired little kitty! I was on the road by 7:30 this morning, and there was very little traffic. I'm ready to go back to bed! I had considered going to the movies with my sis today, but decided I just want to get home. I'm such a homebody!

I think Nike was glad to have some company for two nights. She seemed more relaxed last night, sleeping on the futon instead of the other room. She meowed at me this morning, instead of hissing and/or running away. She even let me pet her. I told her that her mom & dad will be back soon. I'm sure she'll be glad to see them!
