mmmm, Saturday

I love Saturdays. I can Do Stuff, or not. I can sleep late, though I rarely do. I slept 'til after 8:30 this morning, but I suspect that's because I didn't get to sleep until well after midnight. My !@#& neighbor was playing music too loudly again. Must call landlord and complain. I never do that, but gorram it, I need my sleep! All I hear is the bass, which is annoying. It keeps me awake. I wanted to throw things at our shared wall, but restrained myself. Grrrr!

I'm having some toast made with the wonderful bread sea_dark_wine left for me for taking care of Nike. Yum! It has currants and ginger in it. Makes great toast! She makes the best bread. Perfect Saturday breakfast, with some of the tea mom brought back from Germany for me.

Planning to go see Harry Potter today. There are several shows this afternoon. I can't believe I waited this long to see it! I'm usually there opening night, or at least opening weekend. There was just too much to do last weekend, and the older I get, the less I like dealing with crowds.

I've finally seen the new Harry Potter movie. I loved it. I laughed, I cried, I was amazed. As Harry said: I love magic! It's just lovely to see these kids growing up. I hope they keep the cast intact for the whole series. Hermione is turning into a lovely young woman. Harry, of course, is a cutie patootie. I love the Weasely twins! I could have done with more Ginny, Snape, and Hagrid. Lucius! Love that long blonde hair and sneer. Cedric's father was heartbreaking. Voldemort was menacing. The Scottish landscape was awe inspiring. So much had to be left out from the book, but they captured the story. All I can say is Wow. Go see it!
