Wow, Thursdays are getting busy again. Which is a good thing. :)

Diane called in sick today, and she sounded awful on the phone. Fortunately, we haven't had to deal with tons of reader ads, which are her mileu. Just a couple, and both were really nice. Sometimes they can be a real PIA.

I went over my quota enough last month to actually make a bonus. I haven't done that since December. It's been a rough couple of months. Of course, bonus these days isn't enough to pay for gas for the month, but it's better than nothing, especially since things are really tight right now. I'll have another credit card paid off after this month, which is making me really poor but boy, will that be a relief. One less thing hanging over my head.

I could've sworn the forecast this morning didn't say anything about sleet or hail, but sure enough, we had frozen precipitation earlier today. It's finally stopped, and is noticeably warmer now, which bodes well for the warm weekend they said we're getting. Woo hoo! I might actually be able to go outside without a coat, hat, and gloves! Wouldn't that be nice.

Does anyone know anything about caring for Norfolk Island Pines? Mine is looking decidedly droopy, so I gave it water, but that hasn't made a difference. I don't want to overwater it. Perhaps it just needs to be repotted. I don't have much of a green thumb!

Argh... one of the outside sales reps sold a featured classified. Which, you know, good for her- but that means more work for me. I didn't think of that. I will eventually train Carolyn, the sales support person, to enter them... but not in time to get the ad up this week. Then she asks me to type in the regular classified for her. I said no. I have my own customers too, you know! I think they forget that I'm an actual salesperson. Just like them, except I don't go out on the road. Carolyn can do that tomorrow.

OK, back to work!
