It's hot, humid, and raining out. Yuck. Makes me glad to be inside my nice, cool, cave of an apartment. Praise be to a/c!
I do have to go out in it in a little while, but my car has a/c. As does the Barnes & Noble, and the movie theatre. I'm finally going to see the new Pirates movie this evening! Ahrrrrr.
Matt called me up a little while ago, to see how I was doing. The last time he saw me, I was all overheated and cranky from packing up my car last Sunday. I'm much better now. *g* He's doing better, too. A bunch of our friends are still there in Babylon, getting ready for another bonfire night tonight. I'll be thinking about them, and perhaps I'll have bonfire dreams tonight.
I slept until almost 10:00 this morning. I guess I really was tired! I don't usually sleep that late. If I weren't going out, I might even have taken a nap. As much as I love the festival, I'm always sleep-deprived when I get home. I'm glad I have a weekend in between that and the family reunion to recover. There were years when it was the next weekend, and I was cranky from lack of sleep.
