It's been a bleary morning. I woke to grey skies, and fuzzy head due to insomnia last night. I'd planned on going to the barn to help with the labyrinth, but could not get myself going. Sorry, firespirit1!

The movie last night was enjoyable, but not nearly as good as the first. Of course, they're setting up the third movie, and therefore left you hanging at the end. There were some good lines ("Hide the rum!") and the effects were fantastic, if a bit overdone at times. If you haven't seen it yet but plan to, stay until the end of the credits! You'll find out the fate of a character you probably forgot about. All in all, it felt like a series of cool bits rather than a plot-driven story. Some characters, including a couple of unexpected ones, turn up from the first movie (other than the obvious main characters, of course).

I've heard that they redid the ride at Disneyland to incorporate characters and story from the movies. It's been so long since I went on that ride, I really don't remember much from it.

Anyhoo, I plan to do laundry and more unpacking-and-stowing-of-camping-stuff today. Woo.
