Things are in the expected chaos out back in the art room, due to the switchover to OSX. On top of that, add server & email problems, and you have near hysteria in the art department. We were looking at a very late day, because on top of all the above, they're also having trouble with logos and pictures in the classifieds. So Kim volunteered to come in tomorrow morning to finish proofing the classifieds (she lives about ten minutes away) and just leave early today, instead of both of us sitting here, twiddling our thumbs, until gods know how late. So, yay, I can actually get out on time on a Friday for once! It's been a while. Hopefully by next week they'll have ironed out some of the kinks in the system. *fingers crossed*

Spam subject line of the day: "Secret Spellbound/Think Grabbed." Runners up: "Phonetic worthless," "derivation obstruction," and "terse revile." It was a good day for spam.

They bought us lunch again today, perhaps in anticipation of the hard day we were going to be having. It was quite yummy, and there were even cookies. Al made apple crisp, which, warmed in the microwave, was quite delicious. He's our own little Emeril, that Al. Tuesday, we're having a Halloween chili cook-off. I'm too lazy to make chili for it, so I will bring Fritos or cheese or something instead. And Beano.
