I have to say that I have yet to see much wildlife there; mostly birds, and the kind you see every day. I did hear a woodpecker, but I couldn't find it up in the trees.
Some of the paths weren't very passable, what with all the ice. I had to backtrack at one point, being unwilling to skate my way across one ice patch. A guy and his dog toughed it out, but I didn't feel like risking it. Next time, I should take those ice tread thingies that my mom gave me.
It's amazing how warm 30 degrees feels after several days in the 'teens!
