restless

I managed to sleep in until after 8:30 two days in a row! That almost never happens any more. It feels good. I made pancakes for breakfast, even.

I'm feeling restless today... I really want to go outside, exploring and taking pictures, but yet again it is dreary & grey. I have a million things to do around the house. Bleah. Wish me luck, I'm diving in!

I managed to cross off a few tasks on my list today, and the sun came out (a reward?) so I grabbed my camera and headed down to Stanley Park. I got some lovely roses, a butterfly, some water lilies, and more. This little guy was really hard to capture (they're so fast!), but a passing woman had peanuts and he stopped to stuff his cheeks just long enough for me to snap his portrait.

So, yay, I got stuff done, and I got outside and took pictures. Another good day.
