fireworks = awesome
Jul. 4th, 2007 09:27 amThe fireworks last night were great! There were a lot more people than last year, probably because the weather was nicer. It was definitely worth putting up with noisy children and inconsiderate adults. I managed to snap a few pix before my batteries gave out, and to my surprise, they actually came out!
The finale was the best. The band was so-so (cheesy oldies). I never did find my coworkers who were there, but there were a *lot* of people. Thousands. Impressive, even without the symphony!
One of my neighbors (no, not that one; another one) had a woman screaming at him this morning because he wouldn't give her a ride somewhere. Lovely. Fortunately, I was already up. She sat in his car for over an hour, just yelling. What an ass. Both of them, actually. I think he finally relented, because his car is gone. Sheesh.
I'm thinking nap now.
