yep, it's still winter

I went out at lunch today to knock most of the remaining ice off my car, and fill up the wiper fluid reservoir. Man, is it cold out there! At least the sun came out, and melted off what I couldn't get to. The roads were iffy in spots this morning, and slightly better this evening. Bleah.

Our editor got a review copy of Stardust, and he loaned it to me to watch. Woo! Just in time, since all my Monday shows are out of new episodes until after the strike.

I discovered today that my photos on Flickr don't look as good on my PC a work as they do on my Mac at home (and whoa, the PC/Mac commercial *just* came on the telly!). That sucks! Sorry to all you PCers out there. I also discovered, however, that you can edit the pix right from Flickr. I did one as an experiment, and it came out relatively well, so maybe I'll try a couple of the others that came out too dark. Something to do when I'm on hold. ;)
