Jan. 11th, 2008 02:20 pmI was afraid today was going to be a disaster, or at the very least difficult, because they're starting to install a software update. On a Friday. No, I don't know what they were thinking. It's the program we use to enter ads, so there's not a whole lot we can do if it's down.
They didn't have to shut us down until after I had done the export for the layout, which is pretty much a best-case scenario. Yay! So now I just have to hope that there's no glitches in the layout process, and I can get out of here at a decent hour today. My coworker took the afternoon off to take her hubby to the doctor, so I have to do it all by myself. Cross your fingers for me!
I'm going to the wake for Vinnie's mom after work. Must remember that I'm not going straight home! Sometimes I get into that automatic mode, especially on a Friday, and don't realize where I am until I'm almost home.
If any of you are driving out this way, be careful! The rain is coming down pretty hard at times.
