Snow is turning to rain... earlier, it was coming down quite hard, but not sticking. Hopefully the roads will just be wet for the commute home.

I've had lots of new customers lately, and a few who've come back after lapsing, but the ones I've been calling have been such a hard sell! Very frustrating. Just like everything else in my life lately... sheesh! I need a break. C'mon universe, it's *my* turn! Bring me something good for a change, please?

I watched The Devil Wears Prada last night. I didn't find it nearly as charming as I'd heard it was, which is what usually happens when I see a movie after everyone else has. It wasn't bad, and the performances were terrific (especially Ms. Streep), but I found myself cringing at the cliches. ( cut for spoilers )

I have to admit that I did identify with the main character a little, being a bit of a fish out of water back in my Bloomingdales days, but not quite as bad as she was. I did, at least, know who Dolce & Gabbana are. *g*
