lizziebelleI'm finally getting into the holiday spirit. Perhaps the fact that next weekend is Christmas, and the Solstice is next Thursday, has something to do with it. *g*
I received my first Yule gift today: Cymbri & Rob gave me a pair of leopard-print gloves. Those of you who know me in real life will chuckle to yourselves, I'm sure; I am known for being a fan of animal prints, especially leopard. In fact, I am wearing a leopard-print sweater right this moment. I don't have to buy it anymore, because I'm always having people say "Oh, I saw this and thought of you!" as they hand me something. It warms my heart. :)
At the meet & greet at Barnes & Noble today, I saw a funny little book that had us all giggling: The Kitty Kama Sutra. My favorite page was the one with nothing but two tails, and the words "Swish swish." Meow! Someone else found this one: Little Book of Hindu Deities. Imagine Kali drawn as Hello Kitty, and you have some idea of how very, very wrong this book is. We were all horrified, and yet fascinated. Kind of like a car wreck.
