I went for a very long walk today, ending up at Stanley Park once again. I decided to take a stroll into the wildlife refuge part of it, and went farther into it than I have before. I had no idea how large it is! The path goes along the river for quite a way; far enough to get away from the screaming children and giggling college students. There's lots more to explore, so I'm looking forward to the next nice day so I can venture even farther into it. Click the link to see more pix, including the river monster!

Ooh, sounds nice.

I have got to move someplace where I can go outside in the winter. I just have to.

Heh, well, it's unusual for New England. El Nino is good to us, while it keeps sending you storms. We usually have snow this time of year. I'm not complaining, though!

Beautiful photos. I love the upended tree. And was that river monster a log?

I don't know... could be a log, could be a monster! ;)
