snow, anyone?

lizziebelleApparently, there is a huge snowstorm heading our way at this very moment. Huge. Nor'easter! Snow, freezing rain, the whole shebang. I will most likely be staying home tomorrow. I'm actually kind of excited about it. Snow! We've had so little of it this winter, I kind of miss it. And since I most likely won't be driving in it (if we get enough), it *is* kind of fun. I like going out walking in it, when everything is muffled and magical.
Having a bonus day off in the middle of the week would be nice, too. I can take a nap! I can work some more on the Move Stuff Around project. I can bake cookies. The V-Day soup & dessert feast planned for tomorrow has been postponed until Thursday, so I don't have to bake tonight. I'm thinking of making more potato chip cookies. Oops, that means I have to stop at the store on the way home to get chips. Eek. Maybe I'll just hit CVS or a Kwik-e-mart and avoid the throngs of people who apparently can't live without mounds of bread and milk for one day. I swear they still haven't gotten over the blizzard of '78 in these parts. *g*
I've been selling my arse off today; I'm a selling fool. I figured I'd better make the most of today, in case I'm home tomorrow.
OMG- a local market just brought us our V-Day present: chocolate rush cake! I'm having a chocolate rush as we speak. Wow! Yum yum yum!

Date: 2007-02-13 09:35 pm (UTC)Since I have such a long way to come, over a couple of fairly steep hills, if the roads are bad tomorrow I'm just staying home. They can live without me for one day. Most of the folks who work here live nearby, so I'm sure some of them will make it in. :)
