I'm sure that by the end of the week, I'll be glad for Daylight Saving Time. It'll be light out for an hour after I get home from work, which is cheering.

I don't really see it as losing an hour of sleep, since I sleep until I wake up on Sundays. It's really more an issue of losing an hour of Sunday.

The only thing I don't like about it is that it throws off my sleep patterns, which are already screwy. I had trouble getting to sleep last night, which was compounded by the fact that it was an hour later, according to the clock.

I was having a very bizarre dream this morning, having to do with trying to take a shower while squirrels lobbed things through the window at me. What is it with those squirrels?

that's so funny. This morning we watched a fat-ass (litereally) squirrel with its head inside a feeder for at least 15 minutes. Finally, S opened a window and shooed it away. Squirrels are aggressive little rodents. If they could lob they probably would!

They are brazen little buggers... once, I tossed part of a bagel with peanut butter out for the critters, and the next morning, a squirrel was sitting with an expectant look when I went out the door.

I absolutely hate DST. I know I will grow to appreciate having more sunlight for a longer period of time, but as I sit wide-awake at nearly 3 in the morning, I can't help but grumble...

...and then the squirrels made me giggle ;).

I think giggling is just about the only thing you can do with squirrels. They're feisty little buggers!

Squirrels = why I currently don't have any working bird feeders.

DST lets me feed the cat later. But sooner or later, she's going to catch on, probably sooner. I swear Nike knows how to read a clock.

It always threw Robin off. He would demand his dinner an hour early in the fall, and get that petulant look when I wasn't forthcoming. *g*

Oh, sorry. That was me.

And I hate the whole DST thing myself. Pick a f****' time and stick with it. Grrr...
