lizziebelleI love this time of year; warm, breezy days, and cool nights. I had the windows open all night, and it was deliciously cool in my apartment this morning. Before long, it will be hot & sticky, and I'll have to keep the a/c on all night. At least I *have* a/c! It's a nice thing to have. I get late afternoon sun, and it stays hot in there for a long time. Very hard to get a cross breeze.
The pic is from the park yesterday, just a few yards from where I took the pix of the goslings. The purple really catches the eye, breaking up the solid wall of green along the bank. I love irises. Actually, I just love *flowers*. :)

Date: 2007-05-31 03:11 am (UTC)I have been seeing lots of lovely irises around Albany, especially purple ones! I have nice purple and yellow ones growing in my yard, and some that are white, yellow and greenish yellow...I did plant a lot of various colors a couple years ago and transplanted them last fall but they are not in flowering mode yet; le sigh. Maybe by next year!
