Headache is mostly gone, so I threw in some laundry and went for a walk. I ended up at Grandmother's Garden, where the basil was blooming, along with a bunch of other stuff. Click the link to see more.

Cruise Night was going on across the street, but they were looking at me funny so I didn't go over to take pix. Besides, they were playing bad classic rock. *g*

I think ice cream, an episode of Alias, and an early bedtime are in order.

I've been picking mine leaf by leaf and throwing them in everything from salad to sandwiches.

I heard a recipe for mohitos (sp?) using mint as well as basil. S was skeptical but I think we are going to try it!

Basil in a mojito? Weird! But then Lynn made basil mead, and it was pretty tasty.
