Wow, that's right! I remember that day clearly. I thought my father was joking when he said "Elvis is dead" when he got home from work. I didn't believe him! Apparently, a lot of other people didn't believe it, either. *g*

I only remembered because I was watching Dead Famous Sunday and it was the one on Elvis and they mentioned the date of death.

*g* But, if you can believe the medium on Dead Famous, all that refusal to believe and let go is holding the King back from his Great Reward. Either that, or some morgue attendant vampire really did make him a vampire, like in the Sookie Stackhouse books. ;-)
