aaah, Monday

It's nice to have a day off today, especially since I didn't really get to enjoy my Sunday. Feeling mostly better today, but still taking it easy, at least when it comes to food. Playing it safe with banana for b'fast and cottage cheese for lunch. I feel like I'm on a crazy 70s diet.

Since the sun was out this morning, I decided to carpe diem and head over to Grandmother's Garden again. Except for an older couple who walked through with their dogs, I had the place to myself. I watched bees frantically collect pollen from roses, admired the lovely coleus, was tempted to pinch back the basil, and had a Tiger Swallowtail hold still for me twice while I snapped away:

I guess the vortex only works at the end of the day. *g*
