I love wildflowers, and the patch of them on the Mass Pike median, near the NY border, always makes me smile. Apparently, there is a growing movement to replace plain old grass with wildflowers & native grasses on highway medians, although there seems to be some resistance. I think it's cool.

The next big thing in the food industry just might be edible films for food designed to retard bacteria and spoilage, among other things. Fascinating article!
