I was really busy last week, but this week it's kinda slow. *yawn*

OK, and the song on the radio is saying, "Wake me up when September ends." Sheesh!

At my last job, we were essentially on "retainer" for the government--which meant we could be very, very busy if they needed us to do something, or very, very not, when in between tasks. My nice bosses just told me to look busy, in case bigwigs walked through; I got several chapters of my novel at the time written that way. :)

Wake me up when September ends

In some ways, I feel like I've been sleepwalking through this month - there's not much September left at this point, and it looks like I'm not going to accomplish any of the things I intended to, back in the heady days of early August.

Oh well!

October and November are filled with their own duties and obligations, which I look forward to. December is always a write-off, since everyone is going crazy and getting all stressed out by the joy of the season.

Maybe in January or February I'll get around to revisiting my September plans.
