I went to the Arnold Arboretum in Boston this morning, since I had an hour or so to kill. I hadn't been there since I moved, over five years ago, but I used to go all the time when I lived in Roslindale. I really missed it! What a neat place. I had a couple of spontaneous memories of previous visits there, and managed not to get lost. I even found the bonsai house.

After the Arboretum, I headed over to my sis' place to hang with her, mum, and the birthday girl. I can't believe she's 15 already! Yikes. My sis gave her a digital camera. Like auntie, like niece. Now I have to get her hooked on Flickr. *g*

I stashed the rest of my camping gear at mum's (finally!), and now I have my living room back. Yay! Mum sent me home with goodies, including more cookie dough. Yay again!

My sis lent me Good Night, and Good Luck, so I can spend the evening with George Clooney. It's all good. :)

Yeah, I lived there before I moved to Westfield. It's a nice neighborhood; I miss the Greek bakeries!

Yes! Oh, I can't believe I don't remember the name, but that one at the corner of Kittredge and Washington was amazing. Patsfan's up there with his folks for the next week or so. I should ask him to bring something home from there. Thanks for reminding me. :-)

That's beautiful. I spotted a bleached out limb during our ride but never stopped for a picture. I wish I could have carried it home.

Do you know what those fluorescent blue and purple berries were? (they might not be from the Arnold Arboretum pics)

I have no idea, but they're really that bright! They're growing on the arbor, so they're some sort of vine I would guess.
