The concert last night, as well as the company, was fab. It's totally crazy in here today, so I won't have a chance to do a proper write-up until this evening (or possibly tomorrow). Here's a preview: Love Tori; hated the audience; was puzzled by the opening act.

The first time I saw Tori at the Orpheum I was shocked at how rude some of her "biggest fans" were, shouting like crazy people during some of her quietest and most intense musical moments. One woman screamed "You understand us, Tori!" like it was a matter of life and death, and totally destroyed the sound of whatever Tori was singing. I think Tori dislikes this sort of thing, too, but what can you do?

There was some of that, which I also hate, but the sheer rudeness of so many people (talking and taking cell phone pictures) just blew me away.
