I stopped to get gas on the way home from work, and I thought I saw a snowflake drift by. Since it was just the one, I thought maybe it could be some dust or something, and didn't think any more about it. A few minutes later, I distinctly saw more snowflakes in the headlights. Snow, already. Of course, it had stopped by the time I got home, but still. *sigh* It's winter. I am *so* not ready.

I know what you mean! Getting caught in a lake effect snowstorm while travelling in Ohio is... well... exotic, but last night when I saw a few flakes on the windshield as I was leaving Sudbury, I was definitely not enchanted. A few more weeks, maybe!

I think it's especially a shock to the system because we had such a warm October this year!
