back to the grind

It hardly feels like I've been away from work for 4 days, except for the pile of emails and voicemails. Actually, they weren't even all that bad. It took me a while to get caught up but it's smooth sailing now, even after the old dude who had me on the phone for at least twenty minutes this morning, complaining about the kid he'd hired to plow out his driveway. He's one of those people who has to tell you every detail and every bit of background before he gets to the gist of the story, and he's really a nice guy, but I finally had to tell him that I had other customers that I had to call, and I hope it all works out for him. Oy! Learn to sum up, honey. *g*

I'm pretty tired today, but not the zombie I was all day yesterday. Man, I just can't stay up late like I used to! I probably should have taken a nap, but I couldn't chance not being able to get to sleep last night.

I do wish we had company naptime, though...
