Coworker not in this morning. Says she'll be in later... not holding my breath. Grrr. She'd better be here *next* Monday, because I'm taking the day off. But it's not my problem.

For those of you who don't read LJ on the weekend, I have a Valentine Post Box, where you can leave me an anonymous message. :)

It's now up to 11 degrees (it was 9 when I got in to work) (that's Farenheit, not Celcius), and the wind is so strong I can hear it blowing across the roof. I really feel sorry for all those folks who have to work outside today! Yikes. At least the sun is out... it's been so grey the past few days.

I think I may have killed that cyclamen plant... it was all droopy this morning, with lots of yellow leaves. Did I give it too much water? Not enough? I don't know. I've never had one of these before. I think I'm not the exotic plant type!

Oh wow, it's now up to 13! Heatwave. *g*

Trying to remember what cyclamen like... someone gave us one a while ago, and we kept it going for several years. I think it more or less thrived on neglect (because that's what tends to happen if someone gives me a plant ;-)

I understand cyclamen is tough to grow indoors because we like temperature to be higher than they like. If it's near a heat vent, move it!

Ah -- that may be why ours survived for several years: we kept it on our unheated sunroom during the winters.
