That other Captain Jack

I'm up to disc 5 of Torchwood, and I'm mostly enjoying it. It's not at all what I expected, but that's not a bad thing. I've seen at least two storylines lifted straight from Star Trek TNG, I don't get Owen's appeal to women, and I wish Captain Jack got more action. He seems rather sad. It's certainly better than 99% of what's on the telly these days. Hopefully I will get to the end before my Netflix runs out. Or maybe I'll just go to the one-disc option instead of totally cancelling it.

Considering that my body thinks it's an hour earlier, I'm pretty tired. Mondays shag me out. Being by myself makes for a really long day. *yawn*

FWIW, I don't get Owen's appeal either (I suspect he'll grow up to be Gollum some day). And I wouldn't worry too much about Jack's apparent lack of "action". I mean, stopwatch, eh? *nudge nudge wink wink*
