lizziebelleWhen I got to my desk this morning, there was a grocery bag sitting on it. I peeked inside, and there was a whole corned beef, along with some potatoes and carrots. I think there might have been cabbage, too. Then I remembered Diane asking me yesterday if I liked corned beef, and I said I love corned beef, and I started giggling. She went and bought me St. Patrick's Day dinner! She bought one for each of her kids, and got me one, too. What a sweetie! It's in the fridge in the breakroom, and I must remember to take it home. Then I have to call my mother and ask her how to cook the doggone thing.
More giggles: when I saw this Fairy Swatter on the Archie McPhee new items feed, I immediately had pictures in my head of running around Brushwood this July and swatting people. Or maybe just hanging it next to the bar, with one of the squashed fairy stickers on it. Hee!
Man, I have a craving now for corned beef. Maybe I should cook that up tonight!
