Conjure Cinema last night was great fun. Walter showed a 1972 TV movie directed by Steven Spielberg; Something Evil, I think it was called. Starred Darren McGavin. It was cheesy, but not too bad for what it was. After the movie, we had a little going away party for a friend who is going off to California for grad school after the festival. There was dancing and cake, and late-night Chinese food. I went to bed waaaaaaay past my usual bedtime, and of course I was awake at seven this morning.

Since I knew it would be hours before anyone else would be up, I headed for mom's. It was quite foggy (and cool! The weather report said hot, so of course I had only sleeveless clothing with me. Brrrr), but there was very little traffic. Mom made me breakfast, and then my sis & niece came over to hang out for a while. Mom loaded me up with yummy food, and I hit the road.

None of the promised rain so far, but it is getting darker out there. Perhaps I can get in a load of laundry before it begins?
