The ugh that I've been fighting off all week seems to have crept up on me anyway. The weather's not helping either: grey, rainy, gloomy. I've developed a stye, which I haven't had in years, and this one's on the lower lid, which I've never had happen before. I actually still have the ointment from the last one, and I'm hoping it still has some effectiveness left, because I don't feel like paying the doctor to write me a scrip for something I already have.
So anyway, I'm not feeling up to going to Conjure Cinema tonight. I'm almost to the end of
sleigh's A Magic of Twilight (and still liking it a lot, can't wait for the next installment!) and I have some of mom's chicken soup with matza balls (as good as any Jewish mother's), so it's a quiet evening at home for me. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be feeling better, and it won't be raining, so I can explore Stanley Park with
anaquana.

Date: 2008-09-28 07:13 pm (UTC)How long did it continue to rain out there today? We had wanted to go to the Bolton Fair, but would have had to go early because of New Moon meeting tonight, and it was still raining here to varying degrees up until noonish. We took a walk (around the neighborhood) when the sun came out, and a bunch of joggers also came out. It started to mist again, though. Oh well!
The movie last night was kind of sweet (and not too cheesy). We missed you! Walter said next year will start with "Devil's Rain" complete with William Shatner and Anton LeVay -- talk about a dream team. ;-)
