The snow is, indeed, coming down, and there are dire warnings of very cold temps and very high winds, so it's not looking good for getting out tonight. While I'm a good driver (I did learn to drive in the snow country of upstate NY), I really don't trust other drivers sharing the road with me (they don't call them Massholes for nothing), and I worry about my 10-year-old car. So it's looking likely that I will have to miss out on the festivities with my buds tonight. Thanks, weather gods. Thanks a lot.

It's a whole lot worse here than they had predicted yesterday, too. It had said 1-3 inches, now it's 3-5, and more like 5-9 in your area. It's snowing like crazy here. And COLD.

Sorry you'll miss your party! But you never know how the driving will be.

Looks like we may get up to a foot here so we are shifting our plans to the morning.
