In the last 12m I've switched from wearing my looking glasses all the time except when I'm reading, to wearing my reading glasses all the time except when I'm driving/walking around outside. (I've had two sets of lenses since I was about 18.) I think I might have to give in and get bi or vari focals quite soon.

What's worse is too far for the bifocals and too close for the regular part of the glasses. And the varifocals distort too much for a delicate operation like trimming toe nails! LOL

Oh, yeah. Threading needles is a big deal for me; I need to get on top of the brightest light in the whole house and then focus and squint like crazy. Time to get a cabana boy who will do this for me (or train Nike to thread needles, which would be humorous to watch because she'll just go "ooooh thread? Play!!!!!).

I actually have a pair of glasses I bought for doing things like threading needles. They are reading glasses that do 3X magnification.
