OK, so it's not officially Lammas until sundown, but I will be out of town by then, so, Happy Lammas/ Lughnasadh!
I managed to sleep late this morning, which is a rare treat. The sun was (and still is) shining, which is also a rare treat of late, so I went down to the park after breakfast, where the roses were drenched in dew, and the daylilies were bursting with color. Go here to see the rest.
In between uploading the pix, I put together what looks like a fabulous pasta salad, with whole wheat pasta, local tomatoes & radishes, scallions, and a pretty yellow pepper. The flavors are melding in the fridge as we speak. :)
