I came to the startling revelation last night that I'm becoming a Rennie. It's been happening ever since we decided to do a Ren Faire, but it didn't dawn on me until last night that I'm becoming one of them. ;)

Of course, I've wanted to be one ever since I went to my first faire in 1977, when the Sterling Faire opened up down the road from my house. I fell in love with it instantly.

Going to the Faire in garb yesterday, I got lots of smiles from the 'tourists.' In speaking with some of the vendors, I felt like a part of the community. It was a nice feeling.

I'm afraid this is going to take over my life. I know it will in the weeks leading up to the Faire. The question is: do I mind?

It is certainlt threatening to take over our lives. I am sorely tempted to call in dead to work this weekend and go back to the VTRF. Pathetic and sad, eh?

Sounds like you guys had fun at the VT Faire. Sorry we couldn't all go together! I was having fun of a different sort. ;)
