There was thick frost on everything this morning, and there is snow in the forecast, but the sunrise made it worth having to get up and go back to work. That pink sky took my breath away as I was scraping the car windows.

This morning I went for a walk without my camera and saw the beautiful red sunrise and actually thought to myself, "I wonder if maybe Lizziebelle will get a picture of this, because here I am, cameraless, and it sure is beautiful."

Sunny here in DC, but windy--it'll get cold tonight and they're expecting snow--not sure how much--the rest of the week.
