It's an absolutely perfect spring day: blue sky, sunshine, soft breeze, warm temperatures (but not too warm). I couldn't wait to get outside on my break, but as it is Friday, I had to wait until nearly 2:00. It was worth the wait.

I walked down the path along the creek, all the way to Dunkin' Donuts where I treated myself to a Coolatta. Yum. On the way back, I found some forsythia that had burst into bloom along the office park.

Nearby were some more daffodils. Lovely, lovely daffodils.

The willow tree is pale, spring green against the blue, blue sky.

I've always loved willow trees. They were the first trees I learned to identify when I was little.

On the path, a random stick turned out not to be a stick after all.

He slid into this patch of leaves, and held still just long enough for me to snap one picture. Thanks, little snake!

It was very hard to come back inside! I'm sure I will take another walk when I get home from work, and I plan to spend as much of tomorrow outside as possible. It might hit 80 degrees! At this rate, soon we will have tulips. The magnolia is already starting to blossom.

Aaaaaahhhhhh, spring!
