Finally Friday

After a chilly, raw morning, the sun finally came out and I went for a walk along the creek on my lunch break. Everything is so green!

I found evidence of beavers in the vicinity.



Didn't see any beavers, though.

After a loooooong day, it was good to get home. I walked down to Amelia Park, where the tulips are done and not much else is in bloom. I did find a few things, which you can see here.

Oh hey, and it's raining again.

I stopped at Rite-Aid to get some allergy meds, because whatever is pollinating today is making me sneeze. A lot. *'choo*

Yep, it's really raining. That'll lull me to sleep. :)

Beavers are awesome. I've seen beaver sign like that at a park before.

I have seen them, but not around here. I'm glad they're around. :)

They're a good sign. Beavers usually show up only in healthy ecosystems. They need a lot of space to live, clean water, both young and mature trees, etc.

nice job capturing the reflection in the water behind the ferns. you know, i don't think i've seen a beaver or evidence of beavers outside of a zoo. cool.

Thanks! As soon as I saw that, I knew that would be my photo of the day.

I've seen beavers before, but this is the first time I've found gnawed trees. It was pretty cool, and right around the corner from my office!
