I was awake much too early today, as usual, but I did manage to get in a nap. Which is good, because I will be up past my bedtime tonight watching the finale of LOST. I'm sad that it's ending, but glad they chose to finish the story and tell it their way, instead of it fizzling out or getting canceled like so many shows I've liked in the past. I've managed to remain unspoiled for the finale, and will go offline after this to remain so. I had the finale of M*A*S*H ruined for me by spoilers, and I really don't want that to happen with this show.

This little guy was sitting on the stump of that limb peering down at me, but he ran up the trunk when I pointed my camera at him.

The inner door of that mausoleum was open, so of course I had to peek inside.

Nope, no bodies. It appears to be a storage area.

More gorgeous irises are blooming.

This tiny little bird must have a nest in this tree, because she was quite vociferous about my being there.

To all my LOST peeps out there, enjoy the finale! We can cry together tomorrow. It may only end once, but we can talk about it for days afterward. *g*
