Friday at last

Kind of a crazy day today; we had early deadlines because of the holiday weekend, and of course everyone waited until the last minute. For everything.

Our paper won some kind of award, for best free paper (or something like that), so we all went outside to take a group photo, and then we had pizza. Yeah, that's nice... I'd like my hours back please. The graphics manager told us that classifieds were one of the reasons we won.

I didn't get to take a whole hour for lunch, because of the whole waiting-until-the-last-minute thing, but I did take a nice walk along the creek.


Those beavers are still at it, and it looks like they've been successful.





It was a nice respite from work craziness.



My day hadn't gotten off to a good start, either; I apparently hit the off button instead of the snooze button, and overslept so I didn't have time for breakfast. Whoops.

I was going to go for a walk after work, but you know what? I don't feel like it. I think I'll go watch Buffy instead.
