turning to summer

The sky was like brushed steel for most of the day, but after supper it cleared and brightened, so I walked down to the park, where the echinacea is budding. Still not very many lilies, but it's supposed to be hot this weekend, so I'm sure there will be lots in a few days. I predict a lily explosion by next week. :)

I saw lots of buds, but only a couple of flowers. It's 90 degrees today and tomorrow though, so I'm sure they'll bloom soon! :)
