We're back to the hot and sticky weather. Oh, joy. I had to get out for a walk, though, so I went over to Grandmothers' Garden, where the basil is thriving. Yum. I was tempted to snitch some for pesto, but I picked only one leaf and smelled it the whole way home. Gosh I love the smell of basil. :9

It's a smallish patch, maybe a couple dozen plants. I'm sure the people who planted it will harvest it. At least, I hope it doesn't go to waste!

Oh yes, I think rosemary is my favorite herb. When I have a garden, someday, there will be huge patches of rosemary and basil. :)
